Fitness Center holds Annual Golf Marathon

On Wednesday August 24th, 52 volunteers gave their time by golfing and/or raising money for the Fitness Center’s 27th Annual Fundraiser. The Fitness Center has for 27 years hosted the golf marathon to helps raise funds for various reasons over the years. This year money raised for the fundraiser will be put to good use with new equipment in the weight room. This year the Fitness Center was able to raise $19,555 which is mostly raised through sponsorships and our committed board members: Chris Anderson, Shauna Graham, Lacey McLaughliin, Sarah Campa, Cris Larson, Danae Perry, Gina Pickinpaugh & Mitch Sawyer. Special Thanks also to Kathy Mesner and Hanna Hawthorne for their ongoing dedication in raising money each and every year since the start of this fundraiser. The Fitness Center is very grateful and appreciative of their devotion.

At the Good Life Center in Central City you can find all sorts of good food, fun and education. One of those examples of both fun and self improvement is the Good life center exercise class, facilitated by Amanda Votipka, with Power back Rehab company, formally known as Genesis Rehab. Exercise classes are held at the Good Life Center on both Mondays and Thursdays at 9am.
