CCHS FFA Update

Body
It was a busy week for our FFA chapter the week of February 19th-22nd. If you didn’t already know, that is National FFA Week. The activities we decided to do this year were Monday- anything but a backpack and door decorating contest, Tuesday-cowboy/ cowgirl day, drive your tractor to school day, and teacher member lunch/SAE fair, and Wednesday-offi cial dress day and explore Ag day. We did not have school on Thursday or Friday, so that’s why we only had three days of activities, but we did have District CDEs on Friday. Our chapter had a lot of success this year in CDEs, and we will be taking 7 teams to State FFA this year including Agriscience, Ag Mechanics, Ag Sales, Farm Management, Poultry Evaluation, Vet Science, and Welding. The results of each contest are Ag Mechanics- Carlos Alvarez De Toledo 1st purple, Truman Ryan 6th blue, Landon Webb red, Isaiah Davis white, Ag Sales- Charlee Ryan 1st purple, Levi Webb 2nd purple, Grant Nielson 8th white, Akeyli Bush 9th White, Farm Management- Grant Nielson 1st purple, Kit Brooks 10th red, Poultry Evaluation- Shelby Hostler 8th red, Maddie Chrisman 11th red, Sarah Musil 13th red, Aaliyah Mason 15th red, Vet Science- Cole Brandes 1st purple, Ryan Brandes 3rd purple, Adi Deibert 25th white, Taylyn Greving 26th white, Welding-Landon Webb (Tig)-red, Levi Webb (Mig)-red, Riley Lavene- (OA)-white, Haley Throener (Stick)-blue, and Dylan Uden-Roberts (Stick)-red. Legislative Update

Body
In today’s America, the division between beliefs and worldviews is becoming greater and starker. I recently read a brief observation made of those who are “emotionally arrested,” meaning they do not possess a mature, healthy ability to process truth and interact with others.
