Randall A. Ward January 27, 1953 ~ January 20, 2024

Randall A. Ward, 70, of Clarks, died at CHI-St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island, on Saturday, January 20, 2024. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Krakow with Father Bill L’Heureux officiating. Burial of ashes will be at a later date.

com. Randall was born on January 27, 1953 to Myron Clifford and Doris Arlene (Chrisman) Ward in Broken Bow. He grew up in the Broken Bow area and graduated from Broken Bow High School. Following his graduation he attended Northeast Community College and received his Associate’s Degree. After college he began working for Union Pacific Railroad. While with the railroad he worked in Wyoming until 1985 when he moved back to Nebraska and began driving truck for Union Pacific. He then bought his own truck and began hauling for other trucking companies. Randy then moved to Omaha where he began working with his dad with their dirt company. After a while working with them he realized his calling was driving truck, so he began driving truck for Schultz Trucking Company. He then met Susan in 2007, and moved to Clarks in 2009. While in Clarks he began his own trucking company, Razzy’s Enterprise, and drove truck until his health forced him to retire in 2011. Randy and Susan were then united in marriage on October 24, 2018.

He had a special knack for engines, and knew the horsepower on every motor that he came across. He also enjoyed cars, driving his motorcycle, fishing, and hunting. He was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Krakow.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; Susan of Clarks, his children; Jacob Ward of Blair, Jessica Ward of Austin, TX, Rachel Ward of Austin, TX, Jake Ward of Clarks, Jordan Ward of Clarks, and Jeremiah Ward of Clarks, his siblings; Jerell Ward of Lincoln, Genell Faxas of Pueblo, CO, Brenda Rios of Austin, TX, Caroline Shaw of Pueblo, CO, and Cherie Lopez of Pueblo, CO, and 6 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
