Patricia Jean (Larson) Stephenson, born July 18, 1931 near Central City and passed away January 10, 2024 in Bellevue. She grew up on a farm with her parents Arthur and Grace (McClure) Larson and one brother Richard.

She attended county school at District #8 and then attended Central City public schools until graduating with class of 1948.

After graduating she married Garland Stephenson August 19, 1948. They made their home in Central City raising their three children Randy, Terry and Lavinia (Lynn).

Both Pat and Garland worked at the Republican-Nonpareil and eventually purchased the paper. They operated and printed the weekly paper until they retired and sold it in 1990. She was involved and served on the Chamber of Commerce Board during those years. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church.

She and Garland enjoyed traveling, golfing, and playing cards with her many friends. Family functions were very important to Pat.

They made their home in Sun City, AZ in 1991 until July 1998 when Garland passed away. Eventually Pat moved to Bellevue, NE to be close to her son Randy.

She is survived by sons Randy of Bellevue, Terry (Betty) of Central City and daughter Lavinia (Lynn) Tolliver of Moorpark, CA. Seven grandchildren, Fourteen great grandchildren.

Preceding in death by parents, husband, brother Richard E Larson and daughter in law, Peggy (Aspedon) Stephenson.

Family services are being planned for a later date.
