Marvin D. Luschei, 71, of Central City, died on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Azria Health Broadwell in Grand Island. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Solt-Wagner Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Hartley officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday, from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will be held at the Shell Creek Cemetery near Columbus at a later date.

Marvin was born on January 8, 1951 to Armin and Pearl (Adams) Luschei in Central City. He grew up in Central City and attended Central City Schools. He then began working in Grand Island for Rapid Freight. He then began working at F&W Pre-casting in Central City, and following his work there he started mowing yards in Central City. In 1988, Marvin moved to O’Neill until 1991. Then he moved back to Central City, and began working at Wegner Monument, where he remained until his retirement in 2005.

Marvin enjoyed camping, TV, Readings, and occasionally would do some gambling.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother; Tom (Rose Marie) Hilmer of Midlothian, TX, his sister-in-law; Patsy Johnson, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings; Janet Luschei, Mervin Luschei, and Shirley Garrett.
