Don and Marilyn Green were united in marriage on September 14, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Immediately following their wedding, they traveled to George Air Force Base in California where Don was stationed. After his discharge, they returned to Central City where they farmed, raised their family and were very active in the community.

Their children are Sherry (Jim) Jaros of Springfield and Kevin (Linda) Green of Grand Island They are also blessed with three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren: Jennifer (Terry) and Hadley Hill, Randi (Dave) Piper and Drake Offner and Brad (Stefanie) Evelyn and Graham Green.
